There are many niches and options for business building. Learning the most profitable niches for affiliate marketing can help you determine what will work for you.
Maybe you’re not sure what your niche will be? It’s possibly because you have many interests or you just don’t know what will sell. It’s most important that you find a niche you love because you will market, promote and brand it so that it becomes a successful category for you.
Here are a few tips to try to figure out possible topics.
- Make a list of the types of topics friends and family always ask you about. Are you to go to person for relationship advice? Do you help coordinate outfits or give tips on beauty? Are you the one who is the go to when there is a problem with a car or appliances? Are you often asked for suggestions about health or fitness?
- Make a list of the types of topic you enjoy helping others with.
- Make a list of the types of things you enjoy doing. Do you love to shop? Are you great at making videos? Do you love video games? Are you great at golf? Is cooking or baking on the top of your list?
- Take a look at your lists and pick out the top 2 from each.
- Now you have 6 topics to select from. Narrow this list down to 3.
- Based on the 3 topics that are now top on your list, select the 1 you love most.
- Now you have a topic….the next is too narrow it down to become a niche.
Now let’s determine your niche.
Go to Google. Type in your topic. I’m going to use beauty as an example.
As you can see, by typing in only the word beauty there were many choices that appeared in the drop down menu. These are called keywords. Keywords are words or phrases used to search a topic on Google.
Now I’ve tried to see what other types of beauty I could find, so I typed in beauty n…immediately there are many more keywords that appeared.
One keyword that resonated with me was beauty night routine. Beauty Night Routine could be a great niche for someone who is interested in beauty and skin care. It can be focused on products and tools that one can use for a nighttime skin care routine. That could be your niche. You would specialize in beauty skin care for night time routines.
This does not mean, of course that I am suggesting that this is your niche or a topic you love or have an interest in, but you can see how to take your interest to narrow it down to something that can be uniquely you.
There are other ways to analyze niche and keyword topics which we will get into in future posts. I wanted to give you a simplified way of seeing how it could work for you.
